1. What is Relooke?
Relooke is a creative concept specializing in transforming existing shoes. We take items from the market and give them a new identity — by hand, with unique details: crystals, pearls, spikes, chains, leather paint. Each transformed piece becomes unique and will never be reproduced.
Relooke primarily works with leather, faux leather, and suede — noble materials that give the pieces their strong and durable character. Sometimes also with other materials, depending on inspiration and the initial item.
Born in Berlin in 2021, Relooke is now based between France and Germany.
2. Are the pieces handmade?
Yes. 100%. That's precisely what defines Relooke's identity. Designs are not printed, accessories are not machine-glued. Everything is done manually — and it's the imperfection of this handmade work that creates the unique character of each piece. Measurements are not identical, details sometimes overflow, designs vary. This is intentional. That's Relooke.
As our philosophy states: nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.
3. Do all pieces have the same design?
No. Each piece has its own identity. Some are heavily decorated — crystals, chains, spikes, paints, graffiti. Others are more minimalist, classic, with just a few subtle details. But in the majority of Relooke pieces, there is always a graphic element — a drawing, graffiti — that constitutes the brand's DNA. This is what distinguishes a Relooke piece from everything else.
4. Can I have my name added to my piece?
Yes. After purchase, each customer has the right to request the addition of their first name or initials to their piece. This is an exclusive Relooke option that makes your piece even more personal and definitive. Contact us after your order to make this request.
5. Does Relooke accept private commissions?
Relooke does not accept public commissions. The pieces available on the website are the only ones accessible to the general public.
However, in very exceptional cases — for artists, personalities, or important events such as a show or a special date — Relooke can create unique pieces upon private request. These collaborations are selective and not open to everyone. If this applies to you, you can contact us directly.
6. Can Relooke bring my old shoes back to life?
Yes. This is even one of Relooke's strengths. Tired, misshapen shoes, whose color has faded — Relooke can restore their shape, color, and design. Please note: Relooke is not a cobbler. We do not repair soles or stitching. But we restore the shoe's appearance, its visual structure, and add the Relooke identity — drawings, details, accessories. A shoe you thought you would throw away can become a unique piece.
7. What is this imperfection you're talking about?
Imperfection is Relooke's identity. When everything is done by hand — the drawings, the paintings, the application of accessories — nothing is perfectly symmetrical. Details vary from piece to piece. A slightly misaligned crystal, a paint line that overflows by a millimeter, graffiti whose thickness changes. This is exactly what gives Relooke pieces their vintage, authentic, and lively character. A machine cannot reproduce this.
8. How do I place an order and is it secure?
Everything happens normally and securely. You order directly on the website, just like any professional online store. Payments are secured by Shopify — one of the most reliable e-commerce platforms in the world. No banking information is stored. No risk.
9. Are there multiple copies of the same piece?
Never. Each piece is numbered and exists as a single copy. Once sold, it permanently disappears from the site. There is no restock. Ever.

11. How do I care for my Relooke piece?
Caring for a Relooke piece is simple — but there are important rules to follow to preserve its beauty over time.
What to do:
A dry cloth is sufficient. Wipe it lightly over the surface — gently, without rubbing. If necessary, you can slightly dampen the cloth, just a little moisture — not wet. Never scratch with a hard or abrasive object.
What never to do:
- No water. No oil. No chemical products.
- Do not polish the shoe — small stains, white spots, color details, visible imperfections are part of Relooke's identity. That's the beauty of the piece. Do not try to erase them.
- Do not attempt to peel off, cut, twist, or test accessories that are already attached. Everything is secured as it should be. A Relooke piece is made to be worn and walked in — not to be tested, unscrewed, or disassembled.
12. Does Relooke only make shoes?
For now, Relooke focuses on shoes. Other pieces are coming soon — jackets, accessories. Follow our social media to be the first to know about new drops.
